Archangel Michael “Paralimniotis”

To the south of Vati, on a hill surrounded by a lush forest stand out the chapel of Archangel Michael “Paralimniotis”, a Dodecanese-style temple built on the ruins of an older Byzantine church. Apart from its serenity, the area has a spectacular panoramic view to the inland. In veneration of Archangel Michael, a festival is held on the first Saturday of September every year.
