Agios Ioannis [St. John] “Klidonas”

On June 21, on the feast of Agios Ioannis “Klidonas”, the cultural clubs of the village organize a music-dancing event where the people burn the wreaths of flowers they had made on the 1^st of May, thus reviving the custom of “Kalafounistis” [maker of great fires].
